Going On A Detox Diet

  • In today’s modern society, the necessity to go on to a detox diet is very high, most of our fast, moreover cooked foods lead to overweight and obese than ever before. This is because our lifestyle choices, mainly our eating habits are based on commercial food systems which are full of unhealthy, & unwanted toxins which accumulate in the body, resulting in all sorts of disease symptoms.
  • So, Why is it so important to shed off those extra pounds & the hidden toxins within your body?

    1. For many it’s not necessarily about living longer, although that would be nice, but rather about the quality of life they want to enjoy as they age. Everyone wants to be able to play with their grand kids, travel and fully enjoy their favorite destinations, retreats, and basically live a happy productive life without old age poor health conditions holding them back.
    2. Through years of eating unhealthy foods, drinking alcohol, soft drinks like soda and artificial stimulants like coffee & other sugary products, etc, we have accumulated a number of unhealthy toxins in our general GI tract, especially the colon, kidneys, liver, etc, plus not forgetting the lymphatic system and they undermine our good health and our bodies’ overall cellular performance. That is why going on a detox diet from time to time can be very important in helping to restore good lasting health.
    3. Too many toxins in our blood, in our vital organs, in our lymphatic system and throughout our bodies become like the dirty water in a polluted stream, foul and disgusting. This creates a fertile environment for the wrong microbiome (ie bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses – that live & feed on and inside the human body) to grow, causing sickness and many disease symptoms. A raw detox diet will allow our internal systems to eliminate most of these toxic poisons and will leave us not only feeling and looking younger, but we actually will be healthier too.

  • But just imagine how cool it would be to not only detox your body, but to lose weight at the same time. Well the diet we are tell you about will achieve both objectives; not only is it a detox diet, but it is a weight loss diet too.
  • The diet, to which we refer, is the raw food diet. And actually it’s not a diet at all but is a healthy lifestyle choice if incorporated at least in part into our daily menu food plan.
  • Raw, uncooked, or live food is the natural fuel that our bodies were naturally designed to exist on. For millions of years our ancestors existed by harvesting what they could from the land, primarily raw fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Raw food is packed with healthy nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes, and carries everything we need for a healthy well balanced diet.
  • The raw food eaten on a detox diet should be easy to digest, also juicing and blended smoothies can play an important role for people not used to eating large amounts of raw fresh produce.
  • When strictly juicing or blending it is common to suffer from some mild side effects as we detox the acidic toxemias from the body. These can include: nausea, diarrhea, muscle spasms or cramps, headache, high temperature / mild fever, sore throat, tiredness, low energy level, fatigue and the re-occurrence of symptoms of disease.
  • These are purely signs that the raw detox diet is taking effect and that the poisons are leaving your body. They usually last only a matter of three or five days. By eating at least some whole raw foods like salads, garlic, turmeric, onions and other tropical fresh fruits, you can eliminate or at least greatly reduce these side effects.
  • One bonus of detoxing is that they clean out acidic toxins bound up in excess body fat and in doing so allow body fat to be released as well. This is why many people struggle with weight gain, the added fat is actually protecting their bodies from the acidic toxic overload, so they’re continually trying to “diet” to lose weight, while it may be as simple as changing to a more raw alkaline diet.
  • A raw food diet is such a diet, and in effect a detoxing diet and weight loss diet all in one. It’s good to be aware the detox symptoms may come and go over time as your body cleanses deeper, but you’ll be enjoying life so much more you won’t mind these small annoyances. Your digestive system will respond to the new healthy food that the raw food detoxing diet is comprised of, so you’ll feel lighter, have more energy, and become healthier.
