The AfroWellness Kids support program target all kids from different backgrounds, especially those who are disadvantaged or who lack guardians/ parenting support. This Family Support program began with the interest of guarding kids from abuse, and through the collaboration between Afrowellness practitioners and the community team leaders, the project was founded. It was established in response to a pressing need for short-term crisis and respite care for children at risk for abuse or neglect. Over the years, the kids Support program shall carefully evolve, and expanded to meet the dynamic needs of our kids in the community.
